The overland flood alert for Lac Ste. Anne County has been cancelled.
Since June 21, the county has been responding to rapidly changing road conditions and water levels following excessive rainfall.
According to Alberta Emergency Alert, overland flooding has now receded throughout most of the county.
Officials say that while some roads have returned to normal, others may remain closed.
As such, motorists should still use caution when travelling through the county, as flooding has caused significant damage, meaning conditions can still change.
In the meantime, the county says crews are focusing on road assessments, repairs and grading where possible, pumping operations and drainage improvements.
