Overland flooding in Lac Ste. Anne County is still creating new challenges for the municipality.
Since June 21, the county has been responding to rapidly changing road conditions and water levels following excessive rainfall.
County officials say those rainfall amounts have varied significantly across the region, with some communities receiving much more precipitation than others. As a result, response efforts are being adjusted as conditions evolve.
Officials say crews are focusing on road assessments, repairs and grading where possible, pumping operations, drainage improvements and ongoing monitoring to identify priority areas.
The county says it understands residents are looking for assistance and updates, and staff across all departments are working to respond to inquiries and service requests.
Updates will continue when conditions change or new information is available. You can monitor the county website for all overland flooding updates.
