Residents of Barrhead and the surrounding area experienced some high temperatures on Monday, May 1.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, the Barrhead area reached a temperature of 27.3 degrees Celsius on Monday, May 1, beating the old record of 27.2degrees Celsius set in 1941.
Records in this area have been kept since 1912.
