The Woodlands County Photo Contest wraps up this weekend.
Participants have until 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 5 to send in their submissions and signed photo contest release forms. Photographers can send in up to five photos in any of the four categories:
- Farms: Snap a picture of some of the wonderful ranchers, fields, and farm life found in the County.
- Faces: Send in photos of your friends and family enjoying their time in Woodlands County
- Places: Showcase the landscapes, landmarks and all the amazing places to see in the County.
- Youth: Share your favourite County sights and moments. Open to photographers under the age of 18.
Photos must:
-be taken within the boundaries of Woodlands County. Photos taken within the Town of Whitecourt will not be accepted.
-be original, landscape, high-resolution JPEG or PNG files with a minimum of 300 dpi or 3600 x 2700 pixels.
-not be heavily retouched, altered, cropped, panoramic, and must not have any watermark overlays.
Please submit your photos along with a completed entry form to photocontest@woodlands.ab.ca. Forms are available on the Contest page of the Woodlands County website.
