With construction season on the horizon, Woodlands County is handing out the tenders.
At their regular meeting Mar. 2, council granted a tender for engineering on Old Blue Ridge Highway and Bridge File 73047.
The project involves the reconstruction of the first 650 metre section of the Old Blue Ridge Highway west of Blue Ridge. This includes installing new culverts. It also includes the bridge located on Range Road 64, north of Horse Creek Road.
The tender was awarded to MPE Engineering, and has a value $173,928.
