Barrhead RCMP are renewing the call for the public’s help in finding a man who went missing from the Barrhead area.
Shawn Michael Prodaniuk was last seen at 5:00 p.m. on December 23rd leaving his residence in Barrhead.
Shawn left the home wearing a black winter coat, grey jeans and black winter boots, leaving his vehicle behind.
Barrhead RCMP are asking Shawn that, if he is well, to contact his family or nearest police service to advise he is safe. According to RCMP, It is not uncommon for Shawn to leave for periods of time; however, this amount of time without contact is out of character and there is a growing concern for his safety.
Additionally, Barrhead RCMP are asking the residents of Barrhead and the outskirts of town to check their property and out buildings should Shawn have sought shelter from the cold.
Shawn Prodaniuk is described as:
- 45 years old;
- With Blonde hair and blue eyes;
- 180 cms (5’9”) tall and weighs approximately 104 kgs (225lbs).
