Hitting the Highway with Community Spirit!
Whitecourt Transport can trace it’s roots all the way back to the 1940’s when they were known as Nick’s Truck Service in Mayerthorpe.
Over the years they’ve grown larger and expanded the scope of their services, offering daily freight service, excavating, bulk hauling, and heavy equipment services to forestry and oil and gas companies. Not only have they amplified their business over the years, they’re amplifying their community!
The team at Whitecourt Transport believes in investing in the same community where they work, live, and play. Over the years, the Whitecourt Transport owners group has donated their time to various boards and clubs, including Town Council, the school board, the Rotary Club, the Snowmobile Club, and the Transportation Advisory Committee. And when it comes to sports, Whitecourt Transport brings home the gold by coaching and volunteering for various sports clubs.
Whitecourt Transport gives back to the community in other ways as well, notably making major contributions to the Allen and Jean Millar Centre, The Rotary Park, Whitecourt Ski Hill, and sponsoring previous air show events! And they get an A+ when it comes to giving back to education!
This year Whitecourt Transport has rolled out an annual scholarship to students in Whitecourt area looking to pursue post-secondary education.
From supporting major industry, to supporting our schools and clubs, Whitecourt Transport has proven that they know how to amplify our community!
