Proving that beauty is more than skin deep!
Curl Up and Dye opened in 2015 with the aim of being a one-stop-shop for beauty, skin care, and hair care needs. Movie buffs will delight over the name Curl Up and Dye for many reasons, and the close-knit team here – known as The Crew – will make you feel like a movie star! Elora Hagman and Michaelia Lanctot are co-owners of Curl Up and Dye, and offer services ranging from hair washing to spa treatments.
“Whether it’s a simple hair wash or a head massage, we want people to walk out feeling their absolute best!”
The Crew at Curl Up and Dye are also experts at giving back to the community. They’ve hosted numerous bake sales and cake auctions, offered discounted services in exchange for donations for back-to-school programs and food bank donations, and offer continued support to Whitecourt Employment Services. The Crew also donates bottles weekly for the Community Lunchbox, and makes regular basket donations to various groups for auctions and events. Notably, after the horrific Fort McMurray wildfires, Curl Up and Dye offered their hair and spa services for free to those who were displaced. They have even volunteered their chairs and services during events for the Primary Care Network.
“With Covid we’ve had to take a step back…” Says Elora, “…but with our new expansion and renovation, we hope to offer an inviting space for anyone who walks through our doors!”
Whether you want to look red carpet ready, or just want to support a local business that gives back, you’ll want to keep Curl Up and Dye in mind! Thank you for helping to Amplify our community!
