Halloween is just around the corner, and there are a few ways to celebrate the occasion in Edson this week.
On Oct. 29, community members can take in the best seasonal displays around town during the Halloween Frights bus tour.
Complete with hot chocolate, the free event runs from 6:45-7:45 for attendees aged 55+, and again from 8:15-9:15 p.m. for all ages.
Space is limited, so contact 780-725-0582 or visit the Griffiths Park Centre to reserve a seat. Attendees will also meet at the centre to begin the event.
On Friday, Oct. 30, it’s time for the Youth Interagency’s Halloween Dance.
From 6-9 p.m. at the Edson Legion (5016 5 Avenue), youth can enjoy snacks, a live DJ, a costume contest and door prizes.
The event is limited to youth in grades six to nine. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Registration can be done online or at the Edson and District Leisure Centre.
And for the adults, The Noxx Code is hosting a Halloween rave with live DJs at the legion on Oct. 31.
Doors open at 8 p.m., and tickets are $15.
