The Edson Friendship Centre is hosting a special ceremony to recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (NDTR) next week.
From 6-8 p.m. on Sept. 30, Edson community members can head to the Galloway Station Museum for traditional, hands-on family sessions.
The organization will also host an interactive reconciliation activity and provide bannock and tea.

The Government of Canada says NDTR, or Orange Shirt Day, is dedicated to honouring residential school survivors, their families and communities, and to recognizing the lasting impacts of Canada’s residential school system.
