The Whitecourt Cats are back on the field for their home opener this Friday.
Sept. 11 at 4 p.m., the team will be on Graham Acres Field to take on the Valleyview Cougars.
It consists of youth in grades nine to 12 from Hilltop High School, École St. Joseph School and Mayerthorpe Jr./Sr. High School.
The home opener also marks 40 years as a team.
