A mobile mammography trailer is coming to Swan Hills this month.
The test program provides screening mammograms to eligible individuals aged 45-74.
Screenings are offered for free, but an appointment is required. You can book one or learn more by calling 1-800-667-0604.
The trailer will be at the Swan Hills Healthcare Centre (29 Freeman Drive) Sept. 28-29.
Mammograms X-ray the breast to identify signs of cancer, as treatment can be more effective the earlier the condition is detected. More information about breast cancer screening and eligibility is available here.
