The Town of Fox Creek is seeking community assistance in locating missing signage.
Town officials say that early in the morning on Aug. 18, cameras captured individuals removing town-owned signage near the Kaybob Drive culvert repair site. Similar signage has also been reported missing from other locations throughout the community.
The town says these signs protect public safety, identify construction hazards and relay critical information.
The stolen signage is reportedly valued at more than $1,000, and replacement costs would fall to the taxpayer base.
The town asks anyone with information regarding the missing signage to contact it at 780-622-3896.
