The Town of Fox Creek estimates Kaybob Drive will be closed for at least six weeks to accommodate a culvert replacement.
The culvert collapsed on June 22 following excessive rainfall received June 20-21.
The town says construction remains dependent on several factors, including engineering plans and design, the tendering process, contractor availability, material procurement, weather and site conditions. This timeline should be clearer once the tender has been awarded and the town has engaged a contractor.
Town officials say this is a significant infrastructure project and essential to restoring Kaybob Drive to full function.
The town will share timeline and progress updates as information becomes available.
