The Edson and District Chamber of Commerce’s Summer Festival returns to the downtown core July 9-11, and road closures will be in effect for the event.
For three days, the downtown core will be bustling with rides, games and food from West Coast Amusements.
Unlimited ride wristbands are available online for $44.20.
Attractions will be open during the following hours:
- Thursday: 1-11 p.m.
- Friday: 12-11 p.m.
- Saturday: 12-6 p.m.
Barricades and road closures will be put in place ahead of time to accommodate the event.
During the event, additional closures will be in effect on 50 Street between 1 Avenue and 6 Avenue, as well as on portions of 3 Avenue and 5 Avenue.
Town officials say the highway will remain open, but motorists are encouraged to slow down, watch for increased pedestrian traffic and use caution.
