Update #1: June 22, 11 a.m.
According to the Town of Barrhead, the water restriction has been lifted for residents outside of the Barr Manor neighbourhood.
If your residence or business falls within Barr Manor, defined by 49 Street (Highway 33) to 60 Street, and 50 Avenue to 60 Avenue, the water restriction is still in effect until further notice.
Residents in this area, shown in red in the image below, are asked to continue to avoid long showers, dishwasher use, washing machine use and extended or continuous tap use.
Toilet flushing, brief showers and brief or intermittent tap use are still permitted.

The Town of Barrhead has issued a water restriction for the community due to heavy rainfall over the weekend.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, the Barrhead region received about 89 mm of rain across June 20-21.
As a result, officials say the rainfall has pushed the town’s wastewater system to capacity.
Residents are asked to avoid showering, flushing toilets and using laundry machines or dishwashers until the situation is resolved.
If the system continues to operate above its capacity, the town says flooding and sewer backups may arise.
