Barrhead County is seeking resident input to guide how its parks and open spaces are enhanced, redeveloped or preserved.
Municipal officials would like to know which county-owned green spaces residents utilize, what they like to do at those sites and what would improve their experience.
A survey is available online and in person until Aug. 9, 2026.
The town is also holding virtual and in-person public engagement sessions on this topic throughout the summer, with a virtual information session scheduled for June 23 from 6:30-8 p.m.
In-person engagement will take place in Neerlandia on July 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Engagement is also planned for Lac La Nonne and Thunder Lake, with dates to be determined.
County officials note, this engagement only concerns county-owned spaces, not provincial or privately-owned properties.
