Barrhead County and the Town of Barrhead are encouraging residents to clear out their old electronics, paint and other odds and ends at the upcoming “Beyond the Bin” recycling opportunity.
On June 13, residents can bring these items to the compost yard (4515 51 Avenue), east of Barrhead Regional Fire Services, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The following items will be accepted:
- Leftover household paint
- Empty paint cans
- Spray paint cans
- Tires
- Used oil
- Electronics
