A Yellowhead County resident has been arrested following an investigation into an alleged break-in at a business.
On March 20, Evansburg RCMP responded to a break-in at the Wildwood UFA gas station.
Following an investigation, police identified a suspect on March 24.
The Evansburg RCMP, Alberta Community Response Team and Police Dog Services executed a search warrant at a residence on Range Road 80 in Yellowhead County, where they arrested one individual and seized various items reportedly related to the investigation.
As a result, a 35-year-old Yellowhead County man has been charged with:
- Break and enter to a business
- Disguise with intent
- Mischief over $5,000
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Identity theft (x2)
- Identity fraud (x2)
- Forgery
The individual was also arrested on outstanding warrants from Edmonton Police Services.
He was brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody, and is to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Evansburg on March 26.
