Due to significant roof damage from a wind storm on Sunday, March 8, Swan Hills School is closed until further notice.
Pembina Hills School Division officials say a structural assessment is underway to ensure the building is safe for staff and students before it reopens.
In the meantime, all classes will shift to online learning. Families with students at the school can expect to hear from teachers directly with information about next steps.
The division says safety is its top priority, and it is continuing to monitor the situation. Updates will be provided when possible.
