A portion of 50 Street/Legion Street in Whitecourt will be temporarily closed for repairs starting Friday, Feb. 13, 2026.
The closure is expected to run from 7 a.m. on Feb. 13 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 15 to facilitate sewer line repairs.
Town officials note a full road closure will be in effect about 40 metres south of the 53 Avenue and 50 Street intersection, and no traffic will be permitted through the area.
Motorists should keep an eye out for signage and barricades denoting the change, which will remain overnight until the work is complete.
