The County of Barrhead is seeking members of the public to sit on eight different boards and committees.
Serving on a municipal board or committee gives residents an opportunity to get involved in the community regarding a wide range of issues impacting residents.
The county says members of the public are included on these committees to ensure members have varied skills, backgrounds and experiences.
Positions are available on the following boards and committees:
- Agricultural Service Board
- Agricultural Pests Appeal Committee and Weed Control Appeal Panel
- ALUS Partnership Advisory Committee
- Barrhead Library Board
- Barrhead Regional Fire Services Committee
- Barrhead Regional Water Commission
- Economic & Community Development Committee
- Subdivision & Development Appeal Board
