Christmas magic is coming to Edson this week thanks to the Edson Light Up Festival, hosted by the Edson and District Chamber of Commerce.
Thursday, Nov. 20, residents are invited to shop until they drop at Light Up Late Night Shopping. Those downtown businesses that are able to will extend their hours, some to 9 p.m., for evening shopping.
On Friday, Nov. 21, families can enjoy the RCMP Centennial Park Light Up event.
Starting at 5:30 p.m., attendees can enjoy hot chocolate, s’mores, as well as indoor and outdoor activities while Santa Claus lights up the park.
A fireworks display is planned for 7 p.m. as well.
