New trial dates have been set for an Edson man charged with attempted murder.
William Daniel Moyan, 66, is now scheduled for trial in Hinton Court of King’s Bench from Jan. 11-29, 2027. He was previously scheduled for trial in Hinton Court of King’s Bench from Nov. 3-7, 2025.
It was on Jan. 24, 2024, at 2:00 a.m., when Edson RCMP say they responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a local residence. Upon arrival, Mounties say it was determined that two people were injured. Both were transported by EMS to a local hospital and later released.
Police say an investigation ensued and, as a result, William Moyan, a resident of Edson, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
