The Town of Fox Creek has released the official results of its municipal election, which took place on Oct. 20.
Incumbent Sheila Gilmour is projected to become mayor of Fox Creek for another term after receiving 309 votes.
Candidates Robin Gervais and Stacy Hanlon tallied 215 and 73 votes, respectively.
Fox Creekâs next council will consist of the following councillors: Chace Lamb, with 521 votes; Kevin Thesen, who received 452; Kerri Hudson, with 410 votes; Kimberly Norman, who acquired 390; Eric Doran, with 378; and Kristopher George, with 293 votes.
Doran, Hudson and Norman were incumbent candidates who served on council in the last term.
There were 600 eligible ballots cast, with 1,312 eligible voters within the election boundary, resulting in a turnout of 45.7 per cent.
Election results were confirmed at noon on Friday, Oct. 24.
