The Grande Yellowhead Public School Division (GYPSD) has released the unofficial list of public school trustee candidates for the 2025 municipal election.
Nominations for the municipal election closed at noon on Sept. 22, and nominations are to be considered official after 48 hours.
GYPSD operates five wards and sub-divisions in the areas of Hinton, Edson, Lobstick, Grande Cache and Jasper.
The unofficial list of candidates is as follows:

- Jackie Mines (incumbent)
Jasper Ward
- Herb Robinson
Herb Robinson and Jackie Mines are both unopposed and therefore have been acclaimed the successful candidates in the Jasper and Grande Cache wards, respectively.
