There’s a new road closure scheduled for next week as part of the ongoing YCE Multiplex Project.
Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 26, 48 Street will be temporarily closed from south of 12 Avenue to the end of the construction zone.
The closure will remain in effect until the end of Phase Two construction and facilitates preparation of the future parking plans along 48 Street, as well as other construction.
Town of Edson and Yellowhead County officials say the transportation department for the Grande Yellowhead Public School Division (GYPSD) has been notified of the changes and has planned accordingly. GYPSD coordinates bussing for both local school divisions.
