The YCE Multiplex Project, a joint venture between the Town of Edson and Yellowhead County, is entering Phase Two of construction.
Phase One involved land clearing, grading and foundation preparation, which officials say is almost wrapped up.
The next phase will see the construction of a new ice arena, gymnasium and new aquatics space.
This will require the main entrance and Guest Services desk to be moved to the current pool space to accommodate the new construction. The main parking lot will also be shifted to a temporary lot on the northwest side of the facility.
Officials note there may be minor disruptions during the transition and recommend visiting the YCE Multiplex website for the most up to date information.
