The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is seeking public assistance in outlining the last days of a woman who was found deceased outside of Edson at the end of June.
On June 26, Edson RCMP received a report that Nicole Joss, 37-years-old and of no fixed address, had been located deceased just outside the community.
The circumstances of her death are currently unknown and being investigated by police. The investigation is headed by the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit, with assistance from the Edson RCMP detachment, Edson RCMP Forensic Identification Services and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton.
The RCMP is seeking assistance in tracking her whereabouts between June 1-June 26 to aid their investigation.
Joss was described as:
- Five feet, five inches tall
- 130 pounds
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
- Last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt with a grey tiger face print and beige capri pants
The Alberta RCMP says its thoughts are with the friends and family of the deceased.
