The Alberta Junior Hockey League has announced its exhibition and regular season schedules ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
The Whitecourt Wolverines will play four exhibition games beginning on the road Friday, Sept. 5 against the Drayton Valley Thunder at the Omniplex at 6 p.m. The next day, the Wolverines will head to the Encana Arena to take on the Camrose Kodiaks at 6 p.m.
Whitecourt will complete the preseason with another matchup against both Camrose and Drayton Valley the following week.
They’ll open the regular season on Friday, Sept. 19 against the Grande Prairie Storm at 7 p.m. at the Bonnetts Energy Centre. The following day, the teams will have a rematch at JDA place, again at 7 p.m.
The regular season features a 54-game schedule for each team, including four games versus each member of the opposite division and six games against teams within the division.
The 2026 AJHL Playoffs will begin on Friday, March 20, and each series will be best-of-seven.
Those in attendance will see the top four teams in each division advance to determine a division champion at the conclusion of the second round.
The South Division champion and North Division champion will then compete in the 2026 AJHL Final.
