Whitecourt’s Run 4 Fun hits the trails this Saturday and as a result, various street closures and transit re-routes will be in effect.
Sunset Boulevard, from 42 Avenue to the JDA Place parking lot will be closed from 7:45-11 a.m. on June 7.
Additionally, participants will be using area roads as part of the races, so please drive with caution and watch for runners in the area.
As a result of the road closure, Whitecourt Public Transit will need to be re-routed as well; there will be no service to Stops 35, 36 and 37 from 7:45-11 a.m. Riders are asked to use Stop 38 (Beaver Drive/Millar Road) or Stop One (Pine Road/Caxton Street) as alternate stops.
