The Swan Hills Healthcare Centre will remain temporarily closed until further notice due to wildfire activity in the area.
Alberta Health Services (AHS) officials say staff evacuated and closed the centre on May 26 in response to the evacuation order that was issued, and that no patients were on site at that time.
All appointments with laboratory services, diagnostic imaging, mental health and public health in the community are currently postponed. Clients will be contacted by AHS directly to reschedule these services as soon as possible.
In the meantime, please call 911 if you experience an emergency.
