Westlock County has updated its Wildfire Alert.
Officials say the wildfires in Westlock County threatening Fawcett and Larkspur are now being held.
Area: This alert is in effect for the Hamlet of Fawcett and the Summer Village of Larkspur.
Affected areas (1):
- Westlock County
Action to take:
- While the situation has stabilized, everyone in the area must remain prepared to evacuate
- Pack important documents and medication
- Pack clothes and pets
- Be ready to be away from home for up to 72 hours
- No evacuation is currently required
- If an evacuation is required, this alert will be updated with further instructions
