According to officials with Woodlands County, Hard Luck Canyon opened for the season on Monday, April 28.
Located about 20km south of Whitecourt, Hard Luck Canyon is a unique geological feature in Woodlands County where the Hard Luck Creek has carved its way through layers of sandstone in the Paskapoo Formation.
County officials say new stairs have been installed leading up to the bridge lookout, ensuring all visitors to the canyon can safely enjoy the natural beauty on display in the area.
