Construction of the new YCE Multiplex is set to begin on Monday, April 7.
Crews say the north parking lot is now closed as they work on phase one between 7:00 a.m. on 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Staff with the Edson and District Leisure Centre are reminding residents that their facility will remain open while construction is underway and that the north entrance will remain open and usable.
Residents who live in the area may notice a slight increase in traffic and construction-related noise while construction is underway.
Officials apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank residents for their patience.
