The Edson Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the area of 56 Street and 10 Avenue on Wednesday, March 26.
Crews say they responded to reports of a fire at Hillcrest Court Building B at approximately 2:30 p.m. and were able to quickly get the blaze under control.
Residents were allowed to re-enter the building to retrieve items between 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., before the building was secured.
Residents who still need to access the building are being asked to contact the property management company directly.
Town officials say support services are available for affected residents through the Griffiths Park Centre by calling 780-725-0528.
Affected residents are also being advised to contact their insurance companies as soon as possible to discuss coverage and next steps.
