A long-standing fixture of the Whitecourt community will be closing its doors on Friday, March 28.
In a statement posted on social media, BGC Whitecourt & District has announced that after serving the community for 20 years, they will be closing their doors for good, effective as of 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28. The statement also says this decision was made due to financial challenges and declining registration numbers.
Officials with the club say they are grateful to the families and community members who have supported them over the years and gave a special thank-you to their dedicated and passionate staff.
