Staff and students with the Holy Redeemer Drama department are getting set to perform three, one-act plays for their 21st annual Dessert Theatre on April 11th and 12th.
This year’s plays include:
- Afterwards – The story of a boy and a girl who awake in a field, and although they recognize each other, they struggle to know who they are and how they got there.
- Cuffed – Which tells the story of a civil servant in Washington who is handcuffed to a post where he meets a cast of crazy characters.
- Caution – An innocent disagreement between two girls turns into an “us vs them” mentality between two groups of people who are bent on being right.
Tickets can be purchased at the Holy Redeemer Office for $10.00 each and various desserts will be available for purchase at the door before showtime for $2.00 each.
Students will also be taking these plays to compete in the Zone Drama Festival in Barrhead a couple weeks after the Dessert Theatre.
