The Grande Yellowhead Public School Division will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness week from Feb. 9 to 15.
Staff say students will join a global movement, started by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation, dedicated to spreading positivity, generosity, and compassion. The foundation has celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Day and Week since 1995, offering participants a variety of free resources.
Parents can download the 2024-25 School Kindness Calender which has plenty of ideas on how to showcase kindness throughout the entire year.
Officials have also provided the following tips for residents to embrace kindness as an everyday part of life, saying even the smallest act of kindness can mean a great deal to somebody.
