Vermillion RCMP are requesting help from Woodlands County residents in locating a suspect allegedly involved in a break-and-enter in October of 2024.
On Monday, Oct. 28, Vermillion RCMP say they responded to reports of a break-and-enter at an oil cleaning plant in the County of Vermillion River.
Upon arrival, officers determined that copper wire had been stolen from the location. Following an investigation, police obtained evidence linking a suspect to the incident.
Mounties say 49-year-old, Woodlands County resident, Colin Swindlehurt, has been charged with break-and-entre to a business and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Anyone with information regarding Swindlehurt’s location are being asked to contact their local RCMP detachment as soon as possible.
