The Town of Edson has decided to remove the dugouts from Griffiths Off-Leash Dog Park.
Officials say this decision was made in the interest of the safety of residents and their pets, as well as ongoing maintenance and safety concerns such as fires and encampment cleanups.
Residents are being asked to give crews and equipment enough room to work quickly and safely.
