The Whitecourt Royals had several teams competing in tournaments this weekend, including the U-11 AA Tier-6 Provincial Playoffs held at Graham Acres field.
The Baseball Alberta U-11 AA Tier-6 Provincial Championships saw the Whitecourt Royals competing on home shale against teams from Sherwood Park, Strathmore, and Parkland County. Following a weekend full of baseball action, the Whitecourt Royals took home the Gold in front of a home crowd.

The Whitecourt Royals U-13 AA Tier-4 team won Gold in their provincial championship hosted by the Irma Tigers at the Irma Ballpark. The U-13 team competed against teams from Wainwright, Edmonton, Irma, Camrose, Chestermere and Red Deer.
The Whitecourt Royals U-15 AA Tier-6 team won Silver at their provincial championship hosted by the Fort Saskatchewan Red Sox at Eldon Brown Park. The U-15 team competed against teams from Fort Saskatchewan, Lacombe, St. Albert, Red Deer and Innisfail.
And the Whitecourt Royals U-18 AA Tier-5 team also competed in their provincial championship, however they lost out before making it to the finals. The U-18 team competed against teams from Innisfail, Stettler, Foothills County, and Parkland County.
