According to the Town of Whitecourt, Spirit of Youth nominations are open. Residents are encouraged to nominate a youth, ages 12-18, that are making a difference in the community; demonstrating leadership, community engagement, advocacy, peer support, support for arts & culture, or perseverance.
Organizers say youth are an important part of the community and their achievements should be highlighted.

Deadline to nominate is April 9.
