The Town of Barrhead says it is thrilled to host a free Family Day Event on Feb. 19 at the Barrhead Sportsgrounds (5607 49 St). Organizers say it should be a day full of excitement, bonding, and delightful discoveries from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

- Outdoor skating rink
- Baseball diamonds.
Organizers say they have crafted a unique experience for families with a special “Passport to Fun” adventure. Each family can grab a passport that guides them through a series of engaging and creative activities meant to help connect as a family by working together on each challenge.
11 STATIONS OF FUN ACTIVITIES
There are 11 different stations to keep everyone entertained and connected including:
- Build a Snowman
- Snap That Shot
- Target Practice
- Put the Phone Down
- And several more
Families can collect stamps at each activity station to complete the passport. Once the passport is full of stamps, it becomes a ticket to win one of two baskets filled with family games and sweet treats!
Officials say this event is not just about fun; it’s about creating lasting memories with your loved ones. Bond over activities, laugh together and enjoy a day of family closeness.
