With water levels on the Athabasca River receding, two roads in Woodlands County have reopened.
Roads now open to the public once again include:
- Sandbar Ranch Rd (Twp Rd 582A)
- Portion of Cutbanks Rd, near the Tubing Put-In site
However, Cutbanks Rd, west of RR 123 remains closed.
Officials say the Tubing Put-In site is open to the public while stairs to the McLeod River have been removed. Residents are reminded to use at your own risk and be cautious of unseen hazards near the riverbank.
