The Edson and District Leisure Centre reports that the pool is still closed due to an unexpected mechanical issue, but parts are on the way.
The pool closed on Monday, Nov. 2, due to an issue with the automatic chemical feed system.
Officials say the parts needed for repairs are scheduled to arrive Nov. 9. Once the repairs are done, the system needs to be inspected and approved by the Government of Alberta.
Preventative maintenance scheduled for Nov. 8-9 has also been completed during the closure, leisure centre officials say.
