The Whitecourt community is once again invited to celebrate Halloween at Trunk or Treat this year.
On Oct. 31, the event will take over Whitecourt in an afternoon of family fun, spooky surprises and, of course, treats.
From 12-3 p.m. along 52 Avenue and 50 Street, attendees can trick-or-treat from decorated trunks.
The Pumpjack Players Whitecourt Drama Society will also be dressing up to bring a haunted house to life.
Organized by the Whitecourt and District Chamber of Commerce, the event is free to attend, and all ages are welcome.
To accommodate the event, portions of 52 Avenue and 50 Street will be closed that day. Whitecourt Transit Stop #6 will also be moved to the corner of 48 Street and 52 Avenue; riders are asked to watch for a sign labelled 6A, the town says.
