Edson RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect connected to an alleged break-in that occurred in Yellowhead County.
At about 7:50 p.m. on Sept. 23, the detachment responded to a report of a break-in at an industrial site in the area of Township Road 533A and Range Road 150.
Police say as they entered the driveway to the site, a red quad with green copper wires on the back quickly exited.
The driver is described as wearing an old white hockey mask, a dark jacket and tan pants, with dark salt-and-pepper hair nearly to his neck.
The detachment is seeking assistance in locating the quad and the suspect. Additionally, Yellowhead County and Edson community members are asked to report unexplained amounts of copper wire in yards and copper burn piles.
The investigation is ongoing.
