The Whitecourt Wolverines kick-off the AJHL regular season with a home opener this Friday.
The team hits the ice at JDA Place at 7 p.m. on Sept. 18 to take on the Devon Xtreme, but pre-game action will take place in the parking lot.
From 4-10 p.m., the Wolverines are also hosting a tailgate party.
There will be interactive hockey nets and bouncy houses for the kids, and beer gardens for the adults.
Attendees should also expect plenty of food and drinks, and a car smash for extra entertainment.
The tailgate party is free to attend.
