The Whitecourt Wolverines were shut out by the Grande Prairie Storm last Friday.
On Friday, Sept. 11, the Wolverines finished the exhibition season with a 3-0 loss to the Storm.
No goals were scored in period one, although Wolverine Braydon Franks was assessed a roughing minor.
Whitecourt’s Mason Russell gave Grande Prairie another shot at the power play at 13:06 in period two, but the Storm didn’t score on the man advantage until the third frame, after Wolverine Olivier Tetrault went to the box for holding.
The Wolverines are back on the ice at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, for their regular season home opener against the Devon Xtreme.
